The CDs never got sent away. They were on a corner of my desk. And I have a huge desk you know. Of course it didnt help that I had put a bunch of papers on top of it. Anyways, now they are finally posted. Lets hope we will get some reaction before Christmas.
What worries me though is if they all want to assist in our summer camp nostalgia mission. Then it means that suddenly the amateur production is a no-no. We have then to go for something a little bit better. Maybe not professional but at least a semi-professional thingy. Well see.
We have also got some more summer camp photos from our summer camp fans. Jürgen Kreis from Germany sent an email telling us he had some photos from the camp 1983. Including Martin Sweeny and Jani Söderhäll slaloming and Claus Grabke, Frank Messman and Rodney doing some freestyle. He said that he had a picture of Neil Blender too doing slalom. That really got me excited. That would have been so cool. Unfortunately the negative was scratched so bad that he couldnt use it. Actually we had already met this year without knowing it at the Paris World Cup in May. Funny.
Another nice surprise was a CD from Jonas Yoda Wickström that turned up in my mailbox. A CD full of old Swedish skate pictures from 1978 - 1983. There was a great deal from both the Hägernäs camp in 1983 and the Rättvik camp in 1981. They are mostly in black and white but I think thats really cool too. There are enough photos for many, many more photo strips in the future.
